PREMIUM BOOKS/POSTERS
In an effort to involve our local schools in the fair, a new contest was offered all area schools this year. The fairboard offered the opportunity for anyone who was interested to design the premium book and posters for the 2011 fair. Thanks to the great work by three students from the Black River High School’s Technology Class, their book and poster designs were chosen as winners this year. Students Brooke Stefano, Brianna Barkhimer and Branden Tomes, under the direction of teacher Shelly Baltic, each received a cash reward for their entry.
Premium books (entry books), posters and yard signs are currently available at the fair office. Premium books are also available online. All entries close July 20. Mail in entries must be postmarked by July 13.
