WELCOME
On behalf of the Medina County Fair Board, our employees, volunteers, and sponsors, we invited you to be a part of the 2011 Medina County Fair.  We encourage you to join us as an exhibitor.  From the back yard gardener to the local farmer, there's a class for everyone.  See if your apple pie is truly the "best" in Medina County!
If you can't join us as an exhibitor, please join us as a guest.  Take an evening and enjoy all that the Medina County Fair has to offer.  From great music, to Jr. Fair exhibits, it's all here!
Ride a ride, watch a demo derby, see an animal show, or simply sit under a shade tree and visit with old friends.  There's something for everyone! With all the great food, we know you won't leave hungry!

FAIR ON THE SQUARE
 
 167 years ago, the first few Medina County Fairs were actually held in the square of Medina. Animals, sewing, cooking and baking items were exhibited and competition was fierce, not only within the county, but also between counties. 
 To celebrate that tradition, the Medina County Fair is recreating a Mini-Fair on the Square. The public is invited to join the excitement on Sunday, July 24 from noon-4:00 p.m.   Several events are already confirmed and there are sure to be more to come. Among the features will be a petting zoo, performances in the Gazebo, a Big Wheel Race and possibly Hobby Horse Show (conducted by the 4-H members), a Dress Up Your Veggie Contest (the public is invited to bring any vegetable, creatively dressed to compete for a ribbon), Minute to Win It Contests, some fair food and much more! More details will be available closer to the date. There may even be a husband/wife calling contest and a few other surprises! This will be a small sample of all of the fun and entertainment that will be at the 167th Medina County Fair, August 1-7. Also, $1.00 off regular fair admission coupons will be available to all who attend. 


 
NEW THIS YEAR - Family Discount Ticket Packages!  Packages include 4 gate admissions, 4 upper grandstand tickets for an event other than Josh Turner and $20.00 in food vouchers for a discounted price of only $55.00.  This is a total savings of approximately $18.00.  Additional family members are $15.00 each.

If interested, please contact the Fair Office to place your order before July 20th.  The discounted package will not be available after July 20th.
