Dock Dogs
If you missed the Dock Dogs at the 2010 fair, you really missed some great fun. These dogs run performance trials throughout the day during the entire fair. When the professionals are not competing, local dog owners bring their dogs to see how they stack up against the pros. These big air dogs compete to see which ones can jump the farthest and action is ongoing throughout the day and evening. The professionals compete for points on their way to state and national championships. And, just in case, you can’t figure out what is going on, there is usually an announcer or event coordinator nearby to explain the competition to the audience. This was such a popular event, that the fairboard was excited to invite them back for another great year!
